  • Master of Theological Studies and a one-year Certificate in "Spiritual and Religious Care in a Pluralistic Society" - The religious and ethnic pluralism of contemporary Canada demands that persons who are preparing to work in spiritual and religious care in institutional and community settings are cognizant of religious rights. In addition to firm grounding in their own faith tradition, they must be knowledgeable in the diversity of other faith traditions. To meet this need, Queen's Theological College, in partnership with the Ontario Multifaith Council, is offering two new programs, a two-year Master of Theological Studies and a one-year Certificate in "Spiritual and Religious Care in a Pluralistic Society". The programs are designed for persons preparing for work in spiritual and religious care in a pluralist context, such as a hospital, home for the aged, nursing home or other long-term care facility, prison, university, the military, or parish nursing.
